There is nothing like a Contiki reunion before another Contiki!

@bianca.twissell and I were on the Contiki Russia and Scandinavia tour in 2016 and became awesome friends, alongside Lachlan & Jess (@the_cf_traveler)! I have now seen each of them after the trip - Lachlan visited me in NYC, I did the Contiki Egypt trip with Jess & Bianca just showed me around her home, Cape Town, including a visit to the beautiful De Grendel Wine Estate as well as a small spot near the ocean for dinner!

I can't wait to make new memories over the coming days as I explore Cape Town and get a taste of the rest of the southern tip of the African continent on the Contiki Cape to Delta trip!

Last weekend, I attended my final Penn State Alumni Council meeting. Over the past 6 years, I've had the opportunity to give back to the university I love by serving on the Board of the largest dues paying alumni association in the world. I am so proud of the work we accomplished and beyond thankful for the many people I met along the way, who I am proud to call my lifelong friends.

In the words of Oberyn Martell from Game of Thrones , "It's a big and beautiful world. Most of us live and die in the same corner where we were born and never get to see any of it. I don’t want to be most of us." 3 weeks, 4 countries, 12 flights and many frequent flier miles later, I'm heading back to NYC. From clubbing in Ibiza to checking out the Dalmatian Coast in Split to walking around the city walls of Dubrovnik to visiting the Hagia Sofia in Istanbul to taking a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia to kicking off the 2022 Penn State football season in Indiana to celebrating a close friend's wedding in Canada, I've had a great few weeks that I will remember for the rest of my life. After 9.5 years at JPMorgan Chase, today was my last day. I am forever grateful for the amazing projects I have worked on, including the current headquarters project which is rising out of the ground and will be an icon in the NYC skyline in a few years, but I am more grateful for the people I encountered along the way. I will forever cherish the relationships cultivated during the first chapter of my career, but also am looking forward to opening the next chapter as a Google employee!

Today's photo from the safari was less than an hour into our first drive when we saw our first cheetahs! They were just walking in the middle of a field (there were 3 of them) before settling down near a tree.
